OUR PASTORS | MICHAEL & AMBER MOONEYHAM
Michael answered God's call to preach at age 15 during the Mississippi Church of God Youth Camp in 1995. He and Amber met in 1993 and were married on July 15, 2000. They have three children—Sarah (married to Levi Webb), Matthew, and Faith—and have served in full-time ministry together for more than 25 years.
Both Michael and Amber are graduates of Lee University. Michael is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and Amber serves alongside him in ministry leadership.
Michael's pastoral experience includes serving as Lead Pastor at Rockfish Church of God (2005–2010), Roanoke Rapids Church of God (2010–2014), and Greenwood Church of God (2014–2026). In July 2026, he was appointed Lead Pastor of Bay Harbour Church of God. Throughout their ministry, Michael and Amber have held leadership roles with the Church of God Youth Board, State Council, Girls Club Ministries, and Women's Ministries. Michael currently serves on the Church of God's Ministry to the Military Board.
Michael and Amber's greatest joy is seeing their children walk faithfully with Christ. Above all their ministry opportunities, they count their family as their deepest blessing.
