A pivotal moment came on Easter Sunday 1995 when Rickey Harris became pastor, marking a period of significant growth and spiritual renewal. Under his leadership, the church experienced increases in membership, unity, and spiritual power. In 2014, John R. Harris, Jr., who had served in various capacities including Youth and Administrative Pastor, was appointed as lead pastor. The church's enduring mission is to be a "Light Shining Forth," driven by a commitment to love God, embrace all individuals, and live according to God's Word, with Rickey Harris now serving as Pastor Emeritus.
